The steps to follow for your visa application
- Complete the relevant visa application form
- Pay the non-refundable visa application fee based on your country’s embassy.
- Schedule a visa interview appointment with the Mexican embassy or consulate in your country of residence. For country-specific instructions, please visit the Mexican embassy or consulate website where you will schedule your appointment.
- Attend your visa interview and carry your appointment confirmation page, passport and supporting documents, and answer all the consular officer’s questions.
- Wait for visa processing. Wait while your application is processed.
- Decision process: the relevant Mexican embassy or consulate communicates the decision to grant or deny a visa to the applicant.
Please note that it is the delegate’s responsibility to investigate visa requirements for Mexico and apply for a visa, if necessary. Delegates are advised to apply for their visa at least 20 days before travelling to Mexico to ensure adequate processing times.
About Durango-
Durango is located in the northern part of Mexico. The city has a semi-arid climate. It is a beautiful city and one of the oldest in Mexico. With an average temperature from 14-24 degrees Celsius in the month of March the weather is transitional and pleasant. The historic center contains the largest concentration of historic monuments.
